What
you are really saying is that your conscious mind and your subconscious
mind are in a constant battle or conflict. And most of the time,
your subconscious mind wins. The conscious mind is the knowing
mind, which controls no more than 10% of your behavior. Over 90%
of your behavior is driven by the subconscious mind, to which
we have no direct access during normal state of mind. But during
hypnosis, positive suggestions reach the part of the brain responsible
for physical response (i.e., the autonomic nervous system) and
bring the subconscious and conscious to work together for your
